The K9 Roof Rack Platform is comprised of a series of aluminum-extruded slats that run front to back. Each one of these slats has 2 slots where you can mount equipment. Made from non-rusting stainless steel, the 6mm or 8mm Tie Down Rings provide ultimate versatility for securing your gear to your K9 Roof Rack System. Simply insert the Tie Down Ring into any slot and slide it to the location required for your customized configuration. You can loosen and slide the ring to any location along the slate and tighten in place with a quick twist. To remove, simply twist in the other direction. This item is for (1) ring.

The shiny, smooth finish works with the river straps I’m using. The black finish is fine, but there was Too much friction. All set now.

They work well. I exchanged black for silver. River straps slide through the polished silver easier. The 6mm silver are smaller both in OD and ID and were not suitable. I’ll make do with 6mm black (which are larger).

Fits my K9 Load Bar upper slots perfectly. Bolts are too long, I added four 1/4” stainless flat washers per tie down above the plastic spacer to keep the threads from interfering with hooks and ropes. Plus it just looks better that way. Alternatively you can cut off a quarter inch of the bolt. Washers are easier. Recommended!
